To qualify for Medicaid, a person must be under the age of 21 or over the age of 65.

If a person is over the age of 21 and under the age of 65, to qualify for Medicaid, he/she is only eligible if he/she is:

  1. Disabled, as defined by the Social Security Administration;
  2. Blind;
  3. Eligible for public assistance; or
  4. A recipient of Supplemental Security Income.
